Foot Care encompasses a range of specialized services—Pedorthics, Podiatry, and Chiropody—focused on optimizing foot function and alleviating discomfort. Pedorthics crafts custom orthotics and footwear modifications, Podiatry and Chiropody addresses medical foot conditions and provide hands-on-care for skin and nail health. Together, they support recovery, enhance mobility, and promote long-term foot wellness.

At Echelon Wellness, our Foot Care specialists—pedorthists, podiatrists, and chiropodists—work collaboratively with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other experts to deliver holistic care. We tailor our approach to your unique needs, blending advanced techniques and custom solutions.
Your care plan may include:

For Military Veterans and RCMP, Foot Care is especially effective in managing service-related injuries and improving daily functionality.

According to VAC, the most common conditions eligible for Foot Care are:
Neck, Back & Spine: Disc Herniation, Disc Disease, Spondylosis, Sciatica
Hip & Pelvis: Bursitis, Sciatica, Osteoarthritis
Knee: Patellofemoral Syndrome, Chondromalacia, Knee Derangement, Osteoarthritis, Ligamentous (ACL, MCL)
Ankle & Foot: Pes Planus, Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, Metatarsalgia, Morton’s Neuroma, Bunions

Foot Care Entitlement
According to VAC, if you have an eligible condition, you are entitled to the following foot care services:
10 Foot Care Treatments Per Calendar Year
However, the annual frequency limit may be increased when it can be shown that treatment has been effective and is reasonably expected to continue to be effective in reaching the desired treatment outcomes.
